Claudio Ranieri's side are said to be resigned to losing the Algerian
despite ongoing talks of a contract extension, with the allure of Camp
Nou too much to turn down.
Barcelona are plotting a big-money summer swoop for Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez, according to a report in the Mirror.
The Foxes are prepared to double Mahrez's £35,000-a-week wages as extention talks continue, but the club are said to be resigned to losing the Algerian at the end of the season.
Mahrez himself is interested by Barcelona's advances and the allure of playing at Camp Nou would be too much to turn down even if he is unlikely to move straight into the first team.
Barca are willing to offer in the region of £25m for the attacker, though could face competition from Arsenal and Chelsea.
